【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoverscylindricaltanksfabricatedbycontactmoldingforabove-groundverticalinstallation,tocontainaggressivechemicalsatessentiallyatmosphericpressure,andmadeofacommercial-gradepolyesterorvinylester,resin.Includedarerequirementsformaterials,properties,design,construction,dimensions,tolerances,workmanship,andappearance.Thisspecificationdoesnotcoverthedesignofvesselsintendedforpressureabovehydrostatic,vacuumconditions,exceptasclassifiedherein,orvesselsintendedforusewithliquidsheatedabovetheirflashpoints.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.Note1Specialdesignconsiderationshouldbegiventovesselssubjecttosuperimposedmechanicalforces,suchasearthquakes,windload,oragitation,tovesselssubjecttoservicetemperatureinexcessof180?F(82?C),andtovesselswithunsupportedbottoms.Note2-ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOstandard.Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section11,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
