【摘要】:Thebiodegradabilityofsubstancesandwastewateringredientsdependsnotonlyonthemolecularstructuresofthetestmaterial,butalsoonimportantadditionalfactorssuchasthe-aquaticorterrestrialtestenvironment;-aerobicoranaerobictestconditions;-sourceandconcentrationofthemicroorganismsoftheinoculum;-acclimatisationandadaptationoftheinoculum;-concentrationofthetestmaterial;-availabilityofinorganicnutrientsandadditionalorganicmaterialforco-metabolicprocesses;-possibletoxiceffectsofthetestmaterialunderthetestconditions;-physicalandchemicalpropertiesandbioavailabilityofthetestmaterial(e.g.volatility,watersolubility,adsorption);-conditionsandphysicalandchemicalpropertiesofthetestsystem(volumeoftestvessels,static,dynamic,closed,CO2removal,temperature,mixing,shaking,oxygensupply);-testduration;-analyticalparametersused(summaryparameterssuchasDOC,BOD,CO2orsubstancespecificanalysis).Assomanyfactorscaninfluencethetestresultsitisnotpossibletodefinea"true"or"reference"method.Thereproducibilityofthetestresultsusingdifferentmethodsorconditionsorevenusingidenticaltestmethodscanbelowanddifferingtestresultscanbeobtained.Normallyatestmaterialwhichiseithereasilybiodegradableorpoorlybiodegradablewillproducesimilartestresults.So-called"grey"substances,whicharemoderatelybiodegradableandneed,forexample,specialbacteriaorlongadaptationperiods,willoftenproducedisparateresults.Biodegradabilitytestsareusedtoestablishthebiodegradabilityofchemicalstructuresandtopredictthebiodegradationbehaviourofatestmaterialinanaturalortechnicalenvironment.Theaimofeachtestmethodshouldbetosimulate,toacertaindegree,suchanenvironment.Therefore,assomanyfactorscaninfluenceorevenexcludecertainmethods,itisnecessarytohaveasufficientnumberofdifferentstandardizedtestmethodstoallowthechoiceofthebestoneforthespecificpurpose.ItisalsotoberememberedthatitwasISO'sintentiontostandardizethebiodegradationtestsoftheOECDGuidelinesforTestingofChemicals(seeannexB).
