【摘要】:ThispracticeidentifiestheminimuminformationcapabilitiesneededbyanambulatorycaresystemoraresidentfacilityR-ADTsystem.Thispracticeisintendedtodepicttheprocessesof:patientregistration,inpatientadmissionintohealthcareinstitutionsandtheuseofregistrationdatainestablishingandusingthedemographicsegmentsoftheelectronichealthrecord.ItalsoidentifiesacommoncoreofinformationalelementsneededinthisR-ADTprocessandoutlinesthoseorganizationalelementsthatmayusethesesegments.Furthermore,thisguideidentifiestheminimumgeneralrequirementsforR-ADTandhelpsidentifymanyoftheadditionalspecificrequirementsforsuchsystems.Thedataelementsdescribedmaynotallbeneededbut,ifused,theymustbeusedinthewayspecifiedsothateachrecordsegmenthascomparabledata.ThispracticewillhelpanswerquestionsfacedbydesignersofR-ADTcapabilitiesbyprovidingacleardescriptionoftheconsensusofhealthcareprofessionalsregardingauniformsetofminimumdataelementsusedbyR-ADTfunctionsineachcomponentofthelargersystem.Itwillalsohelpeducatehealthcareprofessionalsinthegeneralprinciplesofpatientcareinformationmanagementaswellasthedetailsoftheconstituentspecialtyareas.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminet
