【摘要】:Thismethodspecifiesagravimetricmethodforthedeterminationoftheamountofmatterthatcanbeextractedbyacetone,atatemperaturenearitsboilingpoint,fromfinelygroundsamplesofmouldingspreparedfromaphenolicmouldingmaterial.Thetestforacetone-solublematterisonemeansfordeterminingtherelativedegreeofcureofphenolicmouldingsmadefromagivenmaterial.Theprocessofextractioniscarriedoutunderspecifiedconditionsforaspecifiedtime.Althoughahighproportionofsoluble.matterisdetermined,extractionisnotnecessarilycomplete.Theresultsareonlycomparative,becausetheextractedmaterialnormallycontainssubstancesotherthananyundercuredresinthatmaybepresent,forexamplelubricants,colouringmatterandplasticizers.
